Recent Clinical Experience

Pre-Doctoral Internship at NYU-Bellevue Hospital Center
Provided weekly individual and family outpatient psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults integrating psychodynamic, attachment-based, and family systems approaches with more direct cognitive behavioral interventions. Co-led coping and social skills group for 10 - 12-year-olds with ADHD and comorbid anxiety, mood, and behavioral challenges. Provided weekly dyadic therapy for parent-child dyads with a focus on fostering improved communication and strengthening connection. Provided individual, group, and family therapy on child/adolescent and adult inpatient units. Served as primary clinician/evaluator in the child/adolescent psychiatric emergency room performing risk assessment, diagnostic evaluation/clarification, and short-term individual and /or family interventions including safety planning and parent-child communication work. Conducted psychological assessments in an adult psychiatric emergency room.
