I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in individuals and families. My experience includes psychiatric hospitals, behavioral day schools, and mental health clinics, with training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, play therapy, trauma-focused CBT, DBT, attachment-focused family therapy, somatic processing, AEDP, CSRT, and DDP.
I also worked at an orphanage in Colombia, counseling children and parents preparing for adoption. With expertise in adoption, attachment, and family dynamics, I help parents and teens connect and support individuals through life’s major transitions.
My passion is helping people navigate life’s transitions and discover new ways of understanding and responding, even in difficult times. Growth happens through change and challenge. Therapy isn’t just for profound struggles—we all deserve support in life’s complex moments, from starting high school to retiring, becoming a parent, changing jobs, or beginning IVF. My goal is to foster meaningful shifts by slowing down, deepening self-knowledge, and cultivating self-compassion.

Elizabeth Studwell, Psy.D.

My goal is to support a meaningful shift by taking a deeper dive to increase self-knowledge, compassion & growth.”
