I’m Kati Rodriguez, a post-doctoral fellow with a passion for nurturing resilient families and empowering young minds. Originally from Miami, FL, I embarked on my psychology journey at Florida International University, later earning my master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University.

During my graduate training, I refined my skills in child and family psychology across diverse clinical settings. At a community mental health agency, I conducted psychological assessments and provided outpatient therapy, equipping families with tools for lasting change. In a Children’s Hospital inpatient unit, I supported young individuals facing trauma and mental health challenges, using evidence-based approaches like DBT and CBT to foster healing and resilience.

My internship with Astor Services in New York City deepened my holistic approach, as I facilitated individual and group therapies in outpatient and day treatment settings, collaborating closely with parents and educators. I believe psychologists are catalysts for positive change, and my work, whether in English or Spanish, is rooted in empathy and a commitment to supporting families in their pursuit of emotional health and resilience.
